E. H BANK is a dining cafe opened in the renovated Chartered Bank which has built in the beginning of Showa (around 1920 – 1940) located in the former foreign settlement of Kobe. The interior space was神戸旧居留地にある昭和初期に建てられたチャータード銀行を2001年にリノベーションしてオープンしたダイニングカフェ「E. H BANK」。設計は「infix」の間宮吉彦氏が手がけた。
建築当時から残っている手動のレトロな回転扉から中に入れば、重厚感ある造りはそのままに、天井まで届く開放的な窓、巨大なワインセラー、ブラック・サーフェイス、数々の照明器具にアンティークのシャンデリア。完璧なインテリア、そしてリーズナブルな料金で本格的なイタリアン・フレンチをランチから夜遅くまで楽しむことができる。
ひとりでも、大勢でも、昼でも夜でも思い思いの時間を過ごせる「E. H BANK」は神戸に行ったら絶対に外せない場所だ。
